10th of October Tornadoes Oklahoma

The consequences of natural disasters can be catastrophic, including tornadoes. Therefore, the US government was extremely concerned about reports of possible tornadoes along with Oklahoma. Early Monday morning, the meteorological service went to assess the damage and restore the sequence of events minute by minute. According to their report, about 10 possible tornadoes have arrived:

  • the suburb of Tulsa, Coweta;
  • Coweta Public Schools;
  • Norman;
  • Poncha City.

Have tornado victims (injuries or deaths) been recorded? As of October 12, 2021, not a single person with injuries has been identified. However, this does not mean that tornadoes didn’t cause damage to citizens. About 5,000 were de-energized, and dozens of houses’ roofs were damaged. Coweta Public Schools was hit hardest and Monday’s classes were canceled. According to information on their official website, the administration is still assessing the damage.
