Hurricane Rick started on October, 24 and This Morning Reach the Land
On Sunday 24 October, Hurricane Rick unleashed wind and rain on the Mexican coast, and on Monday hit land from Lazaro Cardenas harbor to Zihuatanejo resort at about 90 miles per hour (150 km/h). Forecasters warned that floods and landslides could be among the consequences. At the moment, many trees have been felled due to strong winds and a road in the state of Guerrero has been damaged.
Residents of the surrounding area are advised to stay at home from Sunday evening until Tuesday. Also, if someone’s homes are not adapted to safely await the end of a natural disaster or who simply fears for their lives, they can turn to one of the 6 shelters organized by the government.
We hope that there would be no injuries among the people, and by the end of October, Mexican Hurricane Season would be ended!
