Energy System of the Earth Is in Danger due to Solar Storms

Solar Storms in 2021

One of the most talked-about news over the past 24 hours has been a warning from scientists about potentially large solar flares that could occur in the coming days.

Space weather researchers have not yet observed severe storms on the Sun that would be directed towards Earth. However, several sunspots are visible on one side facing the Earth. Also in the coming days, the solar wind can cause a beautiful aurora, which may be visible to residents of Iceland, the UK, and some parts of Canada. The minimal consequences of such storms can be small disruptions in the power systems on the planet, as well as disruptions in the operation of satellites. The direct consequences can be the collapse of the entire energy system of the Earth. However, according to the existing outbreaks, we should expect minimal consequences from solar storms!
