Earthquake in Iran November 15

On November 14, there was an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 in Iran, as a result of which 1 person died and about 27 were injured. Parts of the port city of Port Abbas have been affected by power outages.

According to the USGS, not so long ago another earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 and a depth of 5.6 km occurred in the same area. The Iranian Center has confirmed the presence of two earthquakes with an epicenter in the Persian Gulf. The Iranian President ordered the authorities to prioritize rescue operations. He also called on all services to be on high alert to provide assistance to all victims.

Also, it is important to remember that not far from the epicenter of the earthquake, Bushehr province, there is a nuclear power plant, but it was not damaged. This is the only positive aspect of the disaster, as the world still remembers the dire consequences of the Chernobyl and Fukushima disasters!
