6.0 Earthquake in Greece

The new earthquake again caught Greece unexpectedly, just like the previous one it was with a magnitude of 6.0. It happened in the early morning of October 19, when most of the population on the East Coast was still sleeping. However, the tremors were felt not only near the Greek islands of Rhodes and Karpathos, according to the report of the seismological center, but the tremors also reached Egypt, Israel, Palestine, and Lebanon.

Greece, 19th October disaster

To this day, there are no reports of casualties, but an earthquake of this magnitude left cracks in houses and within 30 seconds caused many to panic. According to eyewitness testimony, all things in the house were shaking, and the more fragile ones even broke. Some were scared and began to collect documents, expecting a second tremor, others did not quite understand what it was.

Seismologists claim that in the near future, everything should be calm on the territory of Greece and that the population has nothing to worry about.
